Mohammad Majibur Rahman
Chief Financial Officer [CFO]
Mohammad Majibur Rahman holds the position of Chief Financial Officer [CFO] of CBC Capital & Equity Management Ltd. In this role, he is responsible for overall financial management of the company, financial reporting and Taxation & VAT management. He holds the position of compliance officer for looking the regulatory issues of the company.
Mr. Majibur has more than 8 years of professional experience in investment banking operation. Prior to joining CBC, he worked for IIDFC Capital Limited as Deputy Manager and was in charge including of many core functions of the Company. Before that, he worked S. F. Ahmed & Co., Chartered Accountants a leading Chartered Accountants firm in our country as Assistant Manager (Assurance Services).
Mr. Mohammad Majibur Rahman has completed MBS & BBS in Accounting from National University and accomplished certificate level qualify from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He is also a certified Income Tax Practitioner (ITP).
Sabbir Hassanul Islam
Head of Research & Portfolio Management
Mr. Sabbir Hassanul Islam is heading the Head of Research & Portfolio Management wing of CBC Capital & Equity Management Ltd. In this role, he is responsible for handling multifaceted issues relating to portfolio management, conducting equity research and investment analysis of the Company.
Mr. Sabbir has more than 13 years of professional experience in capital market. Prior to joining CBC, he worked for IIDFC Securities Limited as Deputy Manager delivering services in almost all operational departments of the company.
Mr. Sabbir Hassanul Islam is a business graduate of East West University and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the best (University of Dhaka) business school of our country in the public level. He also holds degree of PGDCM (Postgraduate Diploma in Capital Market) from Bangladesh Institute of Capital Market (BICM).
